Chapter 5 Eval of Sources

Chapter 5 Covers how we are to evaluate sources for our topics. We are to look at the relevance to our topic, such as does it really apply to our topic or does it go off in a different direction. Then look at the evidence on the sources and determine if they are reliable sources to use and to make sure they are based off facts and not accusations. The chapter covers about how we are to evaluate the viewpoint of the person who wrote the source  and how it affected it. (Common practice in AP classes to learn about how the writer misleads the writing). Also how the publisher affects the document and be sure to look into them because they tend to have bias as well as the writing which I never thought of before. Finally the chapter talks about the differences between online and published sources and to be extra careful of online ones because they can be made to look professional.
